PLATANOS Under the majestic shadow of five plane trees, this
traditional family tavern restaurant, popular for its fine dishes since
1981, invites you to visit it any day of the year to taste a special menu
based on meat. On the way to Grevena, in about 20 minutes from
Trikala and within a beautiful landscape, Platanos serves its famous
kebab and “kontosouvli” (spit roasted BBQ pork), delicious meze
dishes, creative recipes like “tigania” with pork and leek, spit-roasted
dishes and homemade pies. The premium cuts of meat, like tomahawk
and rib-eye have a dominant place in the updated menu. Open from
early in the morning serving coffee made on embers!
