ΑΓΚΑΘΩΠΈΣ | AGATHOPES
Πολυσύχναστη ακρογιαλιά στα νοτιοδυτικά
του νησιού (10 χλμ. από την Ερμούπολη),
με χρυσή αμμουδιά και ρηχά νερά που ξε-
χωρίζει για τη στενή λωρίδα γης που μπαίνει
στη θάλασσα αλλά και για τα κρινάκια που
ανθίζουν κατά μήκος της το καλοκαίρι. Η
βραχονησίδα Στρογγυλό, το Σχοινονήσι
και ο φάρος στο ακρωτήρι Βιγλοστάσι προ-
σθέτουν γραφικές νότες στο ήδη μαγευτικό
σκηνικό. Είναι πλήρως οργανωμένη με ξα-
πλώστρες και ομπρέλες ενώ κατά μήκος της
«παρατάσσονται» cafes και ταβερνάκια!

A lively beach on the southwest of the island
(10 km from Ermoupolis), with golden sand
and shallow waters that stands out for the
narrow strip of land leading from the beach
into the sea and for the rare kind of lilies that
bloom in the area in the summertime. The
rocky islet of Stroggylo, Schoinonisi and the
lighthouse at Cape Viglostasi add picturesque
touches to the already breathtaking scenery.
It is fully organized with sun loungers and
umbrellas while cafes and taverns are lined up
along the beach!
