KASTELLA
ΠΑΡΑΛΊΑ ΒΟΤΣΑΛΆΚΙΑ
Μετά τον κόλπο του Μικρολίμανου, κάτω από τον λόφο της Καστέλλας και πριν
από το Πασαλιμάνι, απλώνεται η παραλία Βοτσαλάκια (ή αλλιώς Ακτή Απόλλωνα),
από τις πιο γνωστές του Πειραιά, η οποία κάθε χρόνο παίρνει εγκωμιαστικά σχό-
λια από τον ξένο τύπο, καθώς είναι ανάμεσα στις καλύτερες παραλίες του κόσμου
εντός οικιστικού ιστού. Η πλαζ, που είναι ελεύθερη για το κοινό, τα τελευταία χρό-
νια έχει αναβαθμιστεί, διαθέτει ομπρέλες και ξαπλώστρες, τένις, μπάσκετ, πισίνες,

VOTSALAKIA BEACH
After the cove of Mikrolimano, on the fringes of Kastella hill and before
Pasalimani, streches Votsalakia beach (also known as “Apollonas beach”), one of
the most popular beaches in Piraeus, enormously praised by the foreign press every
year, as it is considered as one of the top beaches of the world within a residential
zone. The beach is open to the public and over the last years it has been upgraded,
featuring umbrellas and sea beds, tennis and basketball courts, swimming pools, a
refectory and an open-air cinema (10 Vasileos Pavlou Str.)
