Το 1995 άρχισε η κατασκευή
του Μουσείου Ηλεκτρικών Σι-
δηρόδρομων στον Πειραιά,
από τον συνταξιούχο υπάλ-
ληλο του ΗΣΑΠ Μανώλη
Φωτόπουλο. Ο ίδιος, μόνος
του, ξεκίνησε μια προσπάθεια
να συγκεντρώσει υλικό για
το Μουσείο, ψάχνοντας σε
αποθήκες και μάντρες. Όταν
συγκέντρωσε ό,τι χρειαζόταν,
αναζήτησε χώρο και κατέληξε
εντός του Σταθμού Πειραιώς,
όπου βρίσκεται μέχρι σήμερα.
Το Μουσείο εγκαινιάστηκε
το 2005. Εκεί, θα βρείτε από
αντικείμενα όπως παλιές στο-
λές, αποκόμματα εφημερίδων
και περιοδικών, μέχρι βαγόνια

ELECTRIC RAILWAYS MUSEUM OF PIRAEUS
In 1995, began the construction of the Electric Railways
Museum of Piraeus, by Manolis Fotopoulos, a retired
employee of the electric Railways. He started an effort
himself to concentrate material for the Museusm, searching
in warehouses and stockyards. Once he found everything
he wanted, he looked for a place and ended up inside the
Electric Railways Station in Piraeus, where it is located until
this day. The Museum opened in 2005. This is where you will
find from items like old uniforms, newspaper and magazine
