In Piraeus, sports play a leading role with two great stadiums: the Peace and
Friendship Stadium (SEF) and Karaiskakis Stadium, home grounds of the historical
team of Piraeus, Olympiakos. Along with football and basketball games, sports
events, conferences and many more cultural events are organised there.
