ΠΛΑΤΕΊΑ ΑΓΙΟΥ ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΥ ΄Η 25ΗΣ ΜΑΡΤΊΟΥ
Αποτελεί σήμα κατατεθέν της Άνω Πόλης και βρίσκεται μπροστά από το
Ρωμαϊκό Ωδείο και πάνω από τις ιστορικές σκάλες της Γεροκωστοπούλου.
Διαφορετικά ονομάζεται Πλατεία 25ης Μαρτίου και είναι μια ιστορική πλα-
τεία, όπου αγωνιστές μαζί με τον Παλαιών Πατρών Γερμανό ορκίστηκαν
«λευτεριά ή θάνατο» στον αγώνα για την απελευθέρωση.
AGHIOU GEORGIOU OR 25IS MARTIOU SQUARE It is the landmark of
Ano Poli, right in front of the Roman Oreio and above the historical stairs of
the town (Gerokostopoulou Stairs). It is also known as “25is Martiou Square”
and is a historical square where the fighters together with Paleon Patron
Germanos took the oath “Freedom or Death”.
