MΟΥΣΕΊΟ ΤΎΠΟΥ
Πρόκειται για ένα εξαιρετικά ενδια-
φέρον μουσείο, το μοναδικό στο
είδος του στην Ελλάδα και must visit
σημείο της πόλης με σπουδαίο ιστο-
ρικό, λογοτεχνικό και πολιτιστικό
ρόλο, που λειτουργεί από το 1957.
Στα εκθέματά του περιλαμβάνονται
σπάνιες εκδόσεις, εφημερίδες από
τον προπερασμένο αιώνα, περιοδι-
κά, σπάνιες συλλογές με φιλολογικά
και λογοτεχνικά βιβλία, ιστορικής
αξίας έγγραφα αλλά και παλιές και
νέες τοπικές εκδόσεις. Ξεχωριστή
αναφορά πρέπει να γίνει στην σπου-
δαιότατη συλλογή της περιόδου της
Επανάστασης του 1821 που έχει το
μουσείο, όπως το πρωτότυπο χειρό-
γραφο της Γ΄ Εθνοσυνέλευσης του
1927 στη Τροιζήνα.

THE PRESS MUSEUM A museum of great
interest, unique of its kind in Greece and
a must-visit spot in the town, with a great
historical, literary and cultural presence,
operating in Patras since 1957. Its exhibits
include rare editions, newspapers from the
century before last, magazines, special
collections of philological and literary
books, documents of historical importance,
as well as old and new local editions. A
special mention should be made to the
ewmarkable collection of the Greek War
of Independence of 1821 housed in the
museum, featuring the original document of
the 3rd General Assembly of Greeks drawn
up in 1827 in Trizina.
