γνωστές παραλίες της Δυτικής Μάνης.
Don’t get scared by the name (“Foneas”
means “killer” in Greek), as the beach is
anything but scary! Here the landscape is
also idyllic, with blue-green waters, trees
spreading their shadow, big white pebbles,
imposing rocks and the spot where the gorge
of Foneas ends. This is the most favorite
among the less known beaches in West Mani.

Από τις ομορφότερες του νομού, ελάχι-
στα λεπτά από την Πύλο, μήκους 4 χιλιο-
μέτρων. Στρωμμένη με ψιλή άμμο, πεντα-
κάθαρα γαλαζοπράσινα νερά προσφέρει
άπλετη θέα στον κόλπο του Ναυαρίνου,
το νησί Σφακτήρια και την Πύλο.

One of the most beautiful beaches in
Messinia, just a few minutes away from
Pylos and 4km long. The beach is paved with
fine sand, has crystal clear turquoise waters
and offers an endless view of the Gulf of
Navarino, the island Sfaktiria and Pylos.

waters, pine trees dropping their shadow and
clean sand, this beach is quite popular among
the water-sports lovers.
