ZITSA
Built on the slopes of Mount St. Ilias, it is best known for the cultivation of one of the best Greek
white grapes variety, which leads to the production of fine semi-sparkling wines. Try wines at its,
open to the public, wineries, Glinavos (T. 26580 22212, www.glinavos.gr) and Zoinos Winery (T.
26510 66055, www.zoinos.gr). In the same area there is also the winery of Prassos, not open for
visit (T. 26510 61567, www.prassos.com), which, in addition to the other wines, produces retsina.
