ANEKSARTISIAS STREET
Aneksartisias Street, which crosses Averof Street, used to be the heart of the com-
mercial center of the city, in which the main religious groups (Christians, Jewish and
Muslims) co-existed in harmony; currently, after its gentrification, it is considered to be
one of the most picturesque neighborhoods. As for its atmospheric arcades, where
hostels, trade unions and old warehouses used to be housed in the past, you will en-
joy a walk through the many vibrant stores!
