From beautiful Aghia Triada ( see route 5 ) head to Petralona , after just 4 km , standing and calling you to explore them at an altitude of 900m . Make a stop to enjoy the landscape and the sound of clarinet echoing in the mountains from a fair in the surrounding villages . Keep on driving and you will meet a sign writing Chochlia , with important archaeological findings from the area of the hill of Gla ( the miniature statue of God Dionysus , kept in the Archaeological Museum of Athens ). Start the car , turn on the radio to hear lively music and head restlessly to Vracha with the frequently photographed plane tree , the tireless old men and the two sweet nuns and that are willing to treat you and guide you to the old monastery of Metamorfosi tou Sotira or Monastery of Vracha . Megalo Rema traverses the west side of Klitsos and north of Vracha , coming from Fourna . This is where the river becomes narrow and creates a beautiful gorge , Tsouka . Definitely make a stop here to admire the magnificence of nature . Head to your next destination , Klitso , 11.8 km north of Vracha . Return to the main road and head to Fournas ( 11.6 km from Klitso ). Once you arrive , you will be amazed by the beauty hidden in this place !
