ΜΙΚΡΌ CHORIΌ (& PALAIO MIKRO CHORIO ) At an altitude of 950 m , at the foot of mountain Chelidona and 12 km from Karpenissi , Mikro Chorio overlooks the wonderful valley of Potamia . Mikro Chorio was cut in two after a terrible landslide in 1963 and is now divided into Neo ( New ) and Paleo ( Old ). In Paleo there are many interesting architectural features and is known as the “ balcony of Evritania ”. The reason is obvious ... magnificent , unparalleled , panoramic view ! Tip : The view from Agios Sostis will stupefy you . Moreover , keep in mind the signs that will lead you to the beautiful lake created after the landslide between the New and the Old Mikro Chorio .
