Take D . Fragistas provincial road and within a few minutes , at least 6 ’, get to Limeri , a place inseparably connected with the life and the action of Ant . Katsantonis during the years before the Greek War of Independence . For religious visitors , this place hosts 7 churches , with Aghia Varvara as the most popular one . With the mind filled with beautiful images , head to Granitsa , at short distance from Granitsiotis river . Spend some time in the museum , where you can admire , among others , several folklore exhibits , local costumes and arms from 1821 . Panagia and Stavros , ( named after the large cross at the entrance of the village ). Within striking distance ( 5,8km ) you will arrive at Raptopoulou , hidden in Fteri , Tsouka and Kri peaks and letting the eye get lost in endless forests ... Prassia consists also of many settlements with endless beauties , as well as with interesting religious sites and a milleniaold cypress of Kosmas Etolos , who used this tree to answer to the locals ’ question on freedom . There are impressive rocky formations in Kedra , where the gorge of Parga is located , with impressive plane trees , while in Lepiana , on the way back , after Raptopoulo , within a lush landscape , where you will find the church of Agii Anargiri .
