Two souls on four wheels , gas , snacks , GPS and old fashioned maps . The driver and the co-driver make a quintessential greek road trip in one of the most scenic areas of the country and -without exaggeration- in Europe . We drove through a labyrinthine route of dozens and dozens of kilometers in at least 8 days aiming to track those 12 routes that characterise Evrytania , from the lifeless landscapes to the locals defining the region , and what we were surprised to discover , is that it is place , where the visitors are constantly surprised by the simplicity of its effortless beauty . With Karpenissi as a base , we discovered something almost supernatural : God was present in every breath in the mountains !
