ERMIONI Built amphitheatrically on the
southeastern edge of Argolis, the traditional
character and natural beauties of Ermioni
remain unaltered in time. Stravon describes
it as a town of importance, due to the
agriculture, shipyard industru and fishing that
flourished in the area. The port is the main
trade hub in the town, located in the north
side. Mandrakia, to the South, ecognised as
a traditional settlement, are the old port of
Ermioni, where you will see anchored sailing
yachts and watercrafts. Climbing “Pronos”,
the ancient hill, you can marvel the amazing
landscape of the town, reminiscent of the
Cyclades and enjoy the unique views of
the chapel of St. Ermioni. For swimming
the choices are many, with large beaches
but also small coves sheltered from the
wind. The remowned Katafyki gorge, very
close to the settlement, is ideal for hiking
without particularly high level of difficulty.
With the views of the Hydra and Dokos, the
coastal road is ideal for scenic walks. As for

to satisfy even the most demanding traveller.
