Amazing beaches, luxury yachts and impressive villas create the setting of the “Riviera of the Peloponnese” the fame of which fairly extends beyond Greece, attracting visitors from the entire world. It was named after the gradual change of the word “Aliis”, used to describe the residents of the ancient town of Aliis, which is sunken in the cove in the east and was revealed by the famous Bavarian archaeologist called Dr. Rudolf: “Allis was the first town along with Olinthos in Chalkidiki that since 700 BC has had a clear architectural imprint and town plan, an ancient Town Plan that many modern cities would envy”. The area is ideal for short trips from Athens, as it combines swimming in crystal-clear coasts, culinary experiences in cosmopolitan restaurants and, of course, nightlife in many bars. Porto Heli is a favourite place for Greek and international celebrities, many of which have their holiday homes in the area. The beaches located on the coastine cover all tastes, with Limanakia, Aghios Emilianos, Kosta, Chinitsa and Ververonta being the top options for swimming.
