Τα στενά καντούνια από την Αγ. Σπυρίδωνος οδηγούν
σε µια από τις πιο παλιές συνοικίες της Παλιάς
Πόλης η οποία διατηρεί μέχρι σήμερα ατόφια την
αρχιτεκτονική της. Τα ανήλιαγα σοκάκια που δίνουν
τη θέση τους σε µικρές πλατείες, τα πολυώροφα
σπίτια µε έντονα τα σηµάδια του χρόνου στην
ξεβαµµένη τους τερακότα, οι γιαγιάδες που απλώνουν
τις µπουγάδες στα σκοινιά, όλα αποπνέουν μια

The narrow “kantounia” starting from Aghiou Spiridonos Street lead to one of the oldest
districts of the Old Town, which keeps its original architecture intact until this day. Follow
the sunless alleys to find small piazzas. The old multi-storey houses with the ravages of
time left indelible on their faded terracotta paint and the old ladies hanging the wash on
the ropes; everything exudes an atmosphere of a time gone by. The hidden picturesque
taverns and the cosy cafés are an unexpected surprise!
