ΠΑΝΑΓΙΑ ΤΕΝΕΔΟΣ
Κοντά στην είσοδο του Νέου Φρουρίου, στο τέλος της οδού Σολομού, βρίσκεται
αυτή η χαρακτηριστική για την αρχιτεκτονική της καθολική εκκλησία. Πήρε το όνομα
της από μια εικόνα της Παναγίας που μεταφέρθηκε εκεί από Βενετούς πρόσφυγες
μοναχούς της Τενέδου. TIP: Το 1798 λειτούργησε εντός το πρώτο τυπογραφείο της
Ελλάδας, όπου τυπώθηκε ο «Θούριος» του Ρήγα Φεραίου.
PANAGHIA OF TENEDOS
Close to the entrance of the New Fortress, at the end of Solomou Street, you will find
this Catholic Church, with the distinctive architectural style. It was named after an
icon of the Mother of Jesus that was carried there from the Venetian refugee monks of
Tenedos. TIP: In 1798 the first print shop operated in the temple, where “Thourios”, the
great work of Rigas Fereos was printed.

Αφιερωμένη στην Κοίμηση της Θεοτόκου στολίζει
μια από τις ομορφότερες πλατείες του Καμπιέλο.
Ξεχωρίζει για την ιδιαίτερη επτανησιακή αρχιτεκτονική
και τη γεωμετρική διακόσμησή της. Εσωτερικά
είναι μεγαλοπρεπής, με μαρμάρινο τέμπλο, πέτρινα
προσκυνητάρια και εντυπωσιακές εικόνες.
PANAGHIA KREMASTI
Dedicated to the Assumption of the Mother of God,
the church adorns one of the most scenic squares of
Campiello. It stands out for the unique architectural
style of the Ionian Islands and its geometrical
design. Its inner part is majestic, with a marble
altarpiece, stone shrines and admirable icons.
