BEACHES IN THE TOWN

If you are looking for coasts to swim,
Chalkida has many, popular and favourite
beaches! Even in the town, there are
beaches where you can swim and
sunbathe on the sand to chill! The most
popular beaches are those located outside
the town, out of them Alykes and Drosia
(only 10 km from the center of Chalkida)
stand out, attracting hundreds of people
every day during the summer months,
many of which come from Athens to visit
the beach. It is a large beachfront area
with many beach bars that offer sunbeds
and umbrellas. In the past, the beach
bars here were in a more party mood,
with loud music and dancing, however,
today the bars have a loungy atmosphere
and organise several events. Here, in the
bars or on the beach you will enjoy your
coffee, cocktail or snack relaxing with your
company...unless you love beach volley,
as it is a very popular activity in this beach,
with the courts being always full!
Outside Chalkida, in a closer or a larger
distance, you will find numerous beaches
perfect for every taste and mood, with
clean waters and golden sand! Evia is full
of mesmerizing coasts and seas!
