KARYA Formerly named Trizolo , it is a small village , built at an altitude of 800 meters and consists of Palaiohorakion , Rogia and Ptelea settlements . The pride of Kara is the stone arched bridge of Trizolo or Kamara , as it is also known . It is 3km from the current bridge of Agorasia and 800m from the main road at Vaitsi location and it was probably constructed in the 13th century . It is the second biggest and most important bridge in Argithea after Korakou bridge ( today the first ) and one of the most impressive stone brides in Greece . Many are also the churches in Karya , while two interestinglocal festivals are held in the area ; on May 20 the Feast of St . Nikolaos and on June 30 the Feast of Twelve Apostles in the temple of the same name , 4km from the centre of the village at an altitude of 1.000m . The natural environment is beautiful and wild . Kefalovrissi fountain is another wonderful location with large plane trees , 1,5km from the village . Trizoliotis river traverses 5km in Karya and flows into the Achelous .
