The picture on the cover “Taking Flight” is by Kimberly Kelly Santini, a Michigan based animal artist. There is nothing quite like a Santini original. Her work stands alone for its depth of personality, sense of color and light, and inherent movement. “Taking Flight” is a 3rd in a series of paintings of Cavaliers done by Ms. Santini. The 1st titled “Pile” was sold at the American National Club’s Banquet and Auction to benefit research into Cavalier health issues. “Taking Flight” is a painting inspired by a photograph by Australian photographer and breeder, Jenny Brice.
