GLOBAL FOCUS: ASIA Introduction Asia is by far the largest continent, both in terms of its geographical area, which occupies approx. 30% of the earth’s land mass, and its population, which accounts for some 60% of world’s inhabitants. It is made up of 48 countries ( 3 of which with landmass also in Europe), each with its indi- vidual history and cultural diversity, and each posing unique challenges when it comes to global talent mobility. In this issue of ‘The Global Phoenix’ we have selected just 3 destinations to spotlight.
