LANGUAGE
Bokmål Norwegian is the language spoken by over 80% of
the population, although there are two additional official
languages, Ny Norsk and Sami. Norwegians learn English
at school from age 6 so most are competent with the
language. Some multinational companies also use English
as their corporate language. However, if you really want to
understand, appreciate and enjoy Norway and its rich culture,
it is worth investing in language lessons.
THE EXPATRIATE EXPERIENCE
Moving to Norway as an expatriate
will not only afford the opportunity to
be part of a growing and innovative
business environment but also to enjoy
a land with fantastic natural beauty.
The systems and procedures make the overall process
of relocating to the country relatively easy. The internal
infrastructure ensures easy movement and therefore greater
opportunity to experience greater areas of the country.
Norwegians are proud of their ranking as the “best place
to live in the world” and are welcoming to new workers and
visitors who want to experience their wonderful country.
