SOFTWARE
Martin Ridgeway; ECA International
As software solutions become more
sophisticated, feature-rich and complex, and
the number of options in the market increases,
the process for selecting a supplier becomes
more challenging and time-consuming for
organisations.
Often involving a number of stakeholders, a
typical project will require formulation of the
requirements list, assembling a Request For
Proposal (RFP), identifying suppliers to invite
to tender, hearing sales presentations, seeing
demonstrations and conducting site and client
reference visits.
With so much information to process it can be
daunting trying to focus on what really matters
to the organisation and weighing those factors
accordingly in the decision-making stage.
To help with making a decision that is best for
your organisation, we discuss the 15 questions
global mobility professionals should ask potential
suppliers that look beyond pure functionality to
the other elements of software-as-a-service which
will influence the success of your project.
