children…and who was my birth mother’s nurse at the hospital where I

was delivered…my journey began with my birth mother entrusting me to

my ‘adoptive’ mother who then fell in love with me and decided to not

return me to my birth mother. My adoptive mom unexpectedly passed

away when I was a young boy and I was taken into custody by the Foster

System. I endured 22 different homes with 22 different mothers over a

nearly 6 year tenure.

After my years within the Foster Care System, I fumbled my way through

the next 3 decades having to deal with the results of numerous abuse

encounters within the foster system. From multiple suicide attempts due

to severe depression, PTSD, and abuse trauma…to a 14 year addiction to

crack cocaine…to multiple incarcerations for various white collar offenses,

my method of supporting my addiction. Everything I have listed here

began after age 32…the year that I was reconnected to my birth mother.
