and issues of your audience to help keep your content relevant and needs-focused, as well as asking for help and partnering with others who can help you grow your business. This latter point is one that I’ve just now learned after all these years and wished I’d given myself permission to relinquish control before and allow others in to help me not only in the operations of my business, but also in partnering with other like-minded affiliates and professionals who also serve my niche. My growth would likely have been doubled had I chosen to act on this lesson earlier.
8. What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
I love to curl up on the couch or sit on my deck and read. I’m a nerd, so I can be found reading clinical therapy books with highlighter in-hand because I love to learn how to better help my clients. I could probably open up my own Amazon store with the number of psychology-oriented books I own. I also love listening to music (80’s, pop, or dance), nature, shopping, road trips, the arts, and am a total water boy…there’s nothing better than being at the beach with a martini or cocktail in-hand. Sharing these experiences with my husband, friends, and family makes me the happiest.
9. What do you want to make sure you do before you die?
I would like to launch my group practice to be able to serve more clientele in my area and perhaps open multiple satellite offices if all goes well. I want to write my own series of books where I am the sole author about dating, relationships, and sexuality, as well as create online courses about these topics to help spread my message and help more people cultivate healthy
