improvement is not welcomed, and their feedback is skewed. Those who are neutral serve as excellent mirrors, their criticism can be analyzed, and you should heed their advice. The third category are those who embrace our transformation. Their criticism is important and should be well received, however with one “but”. Often, they are trying not to hurt us, and may conceal the truth, and at other times may verbalize something spontaneous based on emotions.

In a word, our ability to simultaneously balance the opinions of others and listen to our own inner voices gives us the opportunity to look at ourselves from two angles, or, as we, psychologists say, to balance the locus of internal and external control. The next time when you think of who and what you are, remember that you can see only a part of your image, the other part is seen through the eyes of others.
