TAG: Being a successful and powerful serial entrepreneur, what is your advice to upcoming entrepreneurs regarding how to market their businesses or brand?
Dylan: Speak your truth. Don’t try to speak what you think sells. You were given a gift that was designed specifically for YOU; don’t try to express that gift using someone else’s formula. Trust that you cannot make a wrong move if you are making YOUR moves. Don’t be afraid to be 100% authentically you. Your brand is simply what people say about you when you are not in the room.
TAG: What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?
Dylan: Not working...we are taught to always be working and be productive, to always look for the opportunity to get more and to be more. I have everything I need at home. Home is always on the inside. Everything I need is within, so I enjoy being with myself more than anything. When I choose to sit in silence and stillness, that is when the magic happens. It’s also when the shadows come up. It’s where the true growth happens.
I know the value of being quiet and still. It’s great for my mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual being. I know the value of the present moment.
TAG: What do you want to make sure you do before you die?
Dylan: LIVE. Too many of us focus on DOING something before we die. I am focused on BEING vs. doing. I am excited for every breath because it’s an opportunity to create. I live in each moment so I don’t fear on missing out. What do I want to do before I die? LIVE in each breath.
GAM: How do you want people to remember you?
Dylan: I don’t care to be remembered. I choose to not be attach to this idea of Dylan Ali. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a blast being Dylan Ali, but when I’m done with this existence, I don’t care if anyone remembers me or not. I’m dead...what do I care?
