gain employment to support my family, I reduced my college attendance to night and summer school classes and knocked out one class at a time until I earned my three degree’s; Bachelor of Science in Psychology/ Chemistry and Nuclear Medicine. I immediately took the MCAT, interviewed for medical school and was accepted. All my dreams were coming to fruition and I felt on top of the world.   Little did I know how drastically my life was about to change…….. I had no idea what darkness was to come.

Question 4: Do you have any skills or talents most people don’t know about?

I play clarinet, tap dance, twirl fire batons and like to act in the occasional theatrical production.  I am a pretty good Italian cook and have been told I am a phenomenal multi-tasker.  I also seem to have a knack for getting people to be vulnerable and share with me.  My Dare 2 Share with Mistie Layne tv talk show on e360tv.com is a platform for people to STEP UP AND SPEAK OUT and I am told I have a softness about the way I get people to open up and share.  It is liberating to watch people release toxic shame and guilt with their transparency.

As VP on Chemobuddies4Life board, I tend to any official business needed and then I try and get a 30 minute walk in before falling asleep watching The Voice, American Idol, Big Bang Theory, The Good Doctor or Shark Tank on tv. My daily fitbit goal is to hit 13k steps and usually that is not a problem with my busy job!

Question 6:  What are you happiest doing when not working?

On my one weekend off per month, I usually choose to go camping.  I love camping outdoors with my family.  Being adventurous out kayaking,
