workers compensation, with chronic pain, and their rehabilitation consultant along-side them. The two pathways are integrated and evidence based, to provide both with the most up to date strategies to enable recovery and return to work. The program is App based and driven by outcome data, allowing live health coaching to assist people 24/7.

This program is both real and practical focusing on what people value and need, live when they need it. The integration with their rehabilitation consultant in the learning pathway, means that change in practice happens live, where it is needed and is measured in the outcome data. Her inspiration for starting the business was the ever-increasing numbers of people suffering with chronic pain in Australia (3.2 million) and the increasing cost ($74 Billion/year). The human cost, is however, unmeasurable, affecting, emotions, sleep, relationships, work and finances, with increasing numbers of people accessing their super funds early due to loss of function. The ultimate inspiration, is the death of over 1000 people each year in Australia from prescription medications for chronic pain, and the deaths from suicide in the rural sector due to lack of access to care. The solution became the problem. There had to be a change in the way chronic pain was managed and delivered.

Kathy is delighted to be named as a finalist and is proud of her achievements, particularly providing practical skills to rehabilitation consultants, and empowered, knowledgeable clients, recovering from chronic pain and getting their lives back.

There are many benefits to balancing business and motherhood as Kathy explains, “It teaches you, patience, resilience, and problem solving, skills that you can share with a wonderful group of mum’s as you collaborate on your journey”.

It can be challenging to be a successful business woman, whilst raising a family, and Kathy gives this advice for others thinking about starting their own enterprise, ”Just do it, don’t let anyone hold you back, and most of all believe in yourself”.
