such a huge success − such a huge, huge, huge success that I was called “Ọmọ aráyé le” (loosely translated as “human beings are dangerous”) the title of the series. Ọmọ aráyé le explores the dynamics of human beings; their capabilities, their ability to wreak havoc as well as help people succeed.
For years I was there with NTA. I did all my exploits as a producer and presenter. I also anchored one very popular quiz show which we took around the campuses.
My Influencers
I never met Bill Cosby, but he influenced me a lot. I picked up lots of my humor from him and a lot of his acting dexterity.
The late Art Alade was one of my influencers. He was my idol. Though I never met him in person, I watched him on television and up until now there are still things I picked from him that I use. I would watch him several times and practice several times afterwards. It was about my life. I wanted it so badly that I would practice and rehearse at every opportunity until it became a part of me. That is why today, when I hold the microphone, what comes out of me is so natural.
My Cherished Values
I find it extremely difficult to ignore injustice. I cannot stand it and I cannot keep quiet about it. It influences my work and shapes the direction in which I am going. Whenever I have to put a work of art together it shapes my commentaries, even on social media. I believe social media is very powerful, but there must be a deliberate attempt to use it positively.
