Time Matters!
With the onset of New Year’s eve, it’s a tradition to summarize the results of the previous year — What did we achieve? Did we realize any of our dreams come true? Was the year successful? People can be divided into two categories — the first category is attributable to people who overall are happy with their yearly results. For them time is “stretched” and “volumetric”. As a rule, they are productive, versatile and have enough time for everything. People from the second category are totally dissatisfied with their yearly results. They may utter to themselves: “Another year is gone, and nothing has changed…”. Such people usually complain that time is fleeting and that it flows with such speed they are incapable of doing anything — be it working, making love or living.
Active studies of time confirm the phenomenon of the existence of two parameters of time — external (objective) and internal (subjective). External time cannot be changed, it goes on in perpetuity counting minutes, hours and days… Internal time has much more importance. It is the reality in which we live and something we can learn how to manage.
"Proper investment of our time depends on recognizing what roles or “hats” we wear in life".
