My experience in business started twenty-five years ago, not by my wish but as a matter of necessity. I was married to a businessman with whom we had two wonderful children. I helped him in business and was present at most of his meetings. However, my goal was not business itself but more importantly supporting my husband. My personal dream was to have a big, healthy, and happy family. Unfortunately, life dictated otherwise — my husband was murdered, and I was left with two children in my arms aged three and five. These were the wild nineties in post-communist Russia with no trusted system of law and order in the country. After my husband’s death and without a formal post-education, I decided to start my own business.
