Then in his usual Frank matter, he went on to tell me he had been watching me and how I was building the nonprofit since our first meeting in Phoenix over a year before. Truthfully, I was speechless. Then I did it; I asked the Co-founder and first President of Make-A-Wish to become an advisor. He smiled. I waited. He then said, “Yes.”

If Frank did it, I can too!

From that moment on, I knew in my heart that CB4L.org would become global and its mission would make a difference in lives throughout the world. Within a month of Frank agreeing to become an advisor, my life changed.

With the confidence that I had gained from the belief that Frank had in my mission and myself, I would declare to the world that I was the “Next Impactor.” And on August 30, 2019, I would be crowned the “First Global Next Impactor.”

A legacy of philanthropy and social responsibility

Frank continued to carry the torch of giving back. He traveled the world speaking, being the example, and encouraging the next generation of leaders and visionaries, such as myself.

His Assistant, Stephanie Rathje-Kinney, shared with me after we had learned that Frank had gained his wings, “I will never forget the day I first met Frank.
