That evening, I headed out to join some friends at a restaurant. As I entered the garage, my car’s engine unexpectedly roared to life. Startled at the noise, I dropped my bag. Before I could reach down and retrieve it, the car’s headlights came on and the DLCx backed out of its space, rolled down the aisle, and stopped next to where I stood. The door swung open and from within I could hear the soft strains of music. My heart pounded. Was I imagining this? The right headlight winked. Twice. “Tootles? Dear Tootles!
