yet you have come for the rose. Site of passion yet nothing is as passionate as the cold dawn when you walk the battlements. History is alive within you at that moment
and the future waits for your command. What will you say? What will you say to the inhospitable music of the time you must inhabit? You walk stone stairs where others have walked
out of history into the living day.
