Hyperlapse, for those who don’t know what it is, simply it is a combination of the Timeplase and Motionlapse that produces a video similar to the Motionlapse feature. However, instead of selecting your start and end points you lock focus on a particular subject you’d like to keep in the frame and either walk, run or even drive towards it depending on your desired effect. This then produces an amazing cinematic feel to your videos leaving the subject or object you locked focus on perfectly in the frame while the world seems to go into overdrive, or Hyperlapse. To conclude this review of the DJI Osmo Mobile 2, I would highly recommend it to anyone who is wanting to get that cinematic look to their videos and along with the added features that the free DJI GO app provides you are able to achieve outstanding results all for just £129 GBP, at that price I think it is a real bargain. If you want to find out more about the Osmo Mobile 2 or any of DJI’s products please visit: www.DJI.com Focus track is also available in ‘selfie mode’ which is activated when clicking three times on the mode button of the gimbal. This feature is the perfect tool for anyone who would like to vlog with their mobile phone or go live on Facebook, YouTube or other streaming outlets of their choice via the custom mode. Ergonomically the Osmo Mobile 2 feels great in the hand with easy access to all the controls to the front along with the dedicated digital zoom button to the left of the device. However, if you are left handed the zoom can be a bit tricky to operate, it is doable with your index finger, but not completely balanced if you're not right handed. Also, if you are worried about battery life, the Osmo Mobile 2 can now charge your mobile with its dedicated USB output to the back of the device whilst you aren’t using the gimbal.
