Acer is a renowned name in the tech industry and has
long produced excellent products for both consumers and
businesses. This 43”4k monitor is no expectation and is perfect
for anyone wanting to have a bigger screen real-estate at a
sensible cost of just £399.
This monitor is extremely stylish, being supported by a sweeping
stand consisting of two polished feet that will fit into any home
or office and really stands out as a great bit of engineering. It is
an excellent choice for any purpose or scenario. We tested this
screen in a variety of situations by using it as our main editing
screen to produce this edition, testing it on a gaming PC and
using it as a TV and it performed flawlessly in all tasks.
As a PC monitor this screen, with scaling applied in windows to
125% it is truly amazing to look at and work on. It produces the
crispest 4K image I’ve seen due to its IPS panel and 178 degree
viewing angle and has support for HDR built-in making it the
perfect choice for media professionals or gamers, who truly
want accurate colour rendition with its 10bit colour depth.
Response time is 5ms and it has a refresh rate of 60Hz,
throughout all our testing we saw no delay with mouse or
keyboard input, especially while we were gaming in 4k, 2k and
1080p. This great gaming performance is also backed up by
Acer providing in the box a headset stand, which is situated
to the back of the monitor for easy storage while you’re not
gaming or video editing.
