A mode which we have not seen before, which the Motion
brings to the table via Locker Mode, this mode is simply
activated by pressing the home button, where you’ll also find
your fingerprint sensor and pressing it will store any photos
you take in to a private “locker” on your device only and not
uploaded to the cloud.
This feature is also present in the Locker for all photos, private
messages or documents to be kept safe and are encrypted in
a secure zone (Locker) that can only be accessed via your
fingerprint or password – a great feature for any multi-media
user or business professional.
Another cool feature which originally came out with the
Motion but can also been seen on the KEYone now, due to an
update, is BlackBerry Privacy shade. This is a “does what it says
on the tin” type product once pressed will blackout – or shade
your phones screen and leave you with a strip across the screen
to be able to read messages, emails etc within public places,
without nosey parkers looking over your shoulder. – This is an
amazing app that has been provided by BlackBerry and I now
use it everyday when I am out and about in public, I highly
recommend giving it a try.
Conclusion:
To conclude this review of the BlackBerry Motion all I can
really say is that this device is the touchscreen smartphone
that everyone has been waiting for, its design is incredible, its
security measures and features are what everyone wants and
likes without them being restricting to the user.
Spec to price ratio is out of this world, if you are in the market
for a new touchscreen device, looking to upgrade from a
previous gen BlackBerry touchscreen device or are your just
looking for a phone that is perfect for work, but also perfect to
watch your favourite TV show on, the BlackBerry Motion is
the device for you, you will certainly not regret it!
