Polo Holiday Packages From Port Ferdinand and Saint Peter’s
Bay Luxury Resorts, Barbados
Holidaymakers can combine a luxury holiday at Port Ferdinand
or Saint Peter’s Bay Luxury Resorts in Barbados with the chance
to play the sport of kings. New polo packages are available,
offering first class instruction from Argentinean polo master,
Salvador Sanchez Duggan, at Buttals Farm Polo Club.
The packages are available from now until 31 May for
all bookings of minimum seven night stays at ether Port
Ferdinand, or sister resort Saint Peter’s Bay. There’s a package
to suit everyone, from the complete beginner who has never
sat on a horse, to those with some polo experience, through to
experts who want to play a full match. Buttals Farm Polo Club
facilities include a large round sand track, practice track and
a main polo field, coupled with hand-picked ponies and top
class equipment. The Club is just a 30 minute drive from Port
Ferdinand and Saint Peter’s Bay.
Experienced Polo Player Sessions
Two one to one polo lessons, four stick and ball 30 minutes
sessions (two horses), two stick and ball one hour sessions
(four horses)
One Polo Match at Buttals Polo Club - four chukkas - includes
gear provided by Club, horses, umpires and time keeper
Cost:US$3,400
For all polo experiences the Club provides safety helmets,
chaps, mallets (sticks) and balls and **standard rental car hire
for one week is included.
