The
Best
that
Life to offer
has
Eating out on Lanzarote is a pleasure at all
times of year, but in January it´s often the
smaller tasty bites we look forward to after
the feast of Christmas and the Día de los
Reyes Magos.
T
he island has, over the years, positioned itself to offer
pretty much anything that
a resident or a passer-by
could want, from a bag
full of English goodies or
a full English breakfast to a tapa or a
media ración (half portion) of anything
on the menu. And the competitiveness
of the catering sector here means that
restaurants and bars never rest on
their laurels.
On an island surrounded by fish,; whose markets display the
surprising variety of fresh fruit and vegetables that are grown here, and
which has made its living from its home-produced wine for decades, it’s
hardly surprising that Lanzarote has plenty to offer, but there’s far more
to it than that.
Lanzarote has also welcomed other
cultures and other cuisines, meaning that
you can find food from China, Italy, India,
Greece and plenty of other countries –
and that includes good old British or Irish
cooking, too.
But the secret to Lanzarote dining isn’t
just what you’ll find on your plate – it’s
the whole experience – a sunny terrace, a
friendly waiter, and the prospect of an unhurried hour or two of enjoying
the very best that life has to offer.
It’s the whole experience – a
