In this issue we’re excited to
be talking to Mr Gay UK,
Cheryl Baker, Cleo
Rocos, Tara McDonald,
Lewis Hancox from My
Transsexual summer, sassy
girl duo of the moment
Major and yes Lisa
Stansfield who has
returned after 10 years away
from the music scene. We’ve
also got articles on how to
Love Your Liver, a
Birmingham Gay Scene
Special and a whole host of
goodies - that you just won’t
find anywhere els e, no
matter how hard you try.
Plus, our incredible fashion
feature on jogging bottoms
(without undies - we’re a
massive fan!)
We can’t go on any further
and not give a mention
about the Sochi Olympics
and the embarrassing
situation, which I believe the
International Olympic
Committee will never fully
live down. In what is
probably the most
outrageous, contentious and
controversial Olympic games
ever, Russia’s Anti-Gay
measures are still in place,
Olympic sponsors are yet to
speak out clearly on the
issue and there’s also
rumours of an Olympics that
has cost over $50bn, for an
event that has been marred
with such incredible bad
taste that millions of eyes
won’t be tuning in to see any
of the games.
I also have to mention
UKIP - sorry but I do. When
David Silvester, a prominent
UKIP councillor suggested
that the storms and floods
we’ve been experiencing in
the UK was because of gay
marriage - I laughed.
Actually quite heartily,
because you see my
friends - you just
can’t argue with this
kind of stupidity.
May I remind the
zealots that gay
relationships are not
the cause of bad
weather, it’s
upset unicorns
and drag
queens. I’m
telling you
now David,
you’re
upsetting
Unicorns
and Drag
Queens. So
stop with
your
insane and
inane ramblings
and get on with
your life. If you
don’t like gay
marriage, don’t
marry a gay.
Lastly, this year there’s
a lot of talk about age 20 years of this, 40
years of that - now while
we applaud those
organisations that are
touting the fact they’ve been
around forever, we like to
remind people that no one
likes getting old and well, we
consider ourselves the
cheeky twink amongst the
choice of publications out
there. No seriously...
congrats to the forefathers of
gay media - we salute you. ∎

JasonWarren Loved the first issue guys!
The Overtones are incredible. Love the way
that they are so open with who and what
they
are and as for RuPaul well it
doesn’t get better than that.
ThomasD That Shane Bitney
Crone interview was
heartbreaking. He’s truly
inspirational. Well done
TGUK xxx
Jay_Keefor That
underwear model was
hot... Can I have him as
a boyfriend please?
daveyboy Love
love love the first
issue. At last
something a little
different from the
norm - recipes to
gardening, hot men
in pants to in-depth
interviews and
columns. Well done my brand new fave.
Patrick Dancy - Just
what the doctor ordered.
GregM If you want a magazine
that covers all bases, then this is
it. Entertainment, politics,
opinion, celebrity interviews,
food, fashion, this mag has got
it. Worth every penny of the
ridiculously low outlay. Highly
recommended.
Tracy Shayler This magazine is full of
interesting interviews! So worth the small
price! Really enjoyed the Debut edition and
will be purchasing in the future... Great
reading! Highly recommended.
TommyDude80 Something a little different,
but not too different. Just right. Liked the
columns.
