ADVICEGARDENING
You can also now move a lot of
types of trees and shrubs if you
feel they’re growing in the
wrong place. Dig out as much
of the root-ball as possible to
give them the best possible
chance.
Don’t stress too much about
next year but do try to make a
basic plan. Think about new
things you’d like to try and do a
bit of research. Order seed
catalogues now and start
placing orders, as soon as
Spring arrives you may find the
things you want are out of
stock.
Dig your own compost into
empty beds to restore some
nutrients before the new
growing season.
Put garden centre vouchers on
your Christmas list!
Merry Christmas from us here
in Wales. Good luck with the
garden and with managing the
Christmas chaos. If you feel
things are starting to get on top
of you, try and grab an hour in
the garden. Wrap up warm and
take your mind off things – we
guarantee you’ll feel better
afterwards!
