FAIR AT UCF
In February, students attended a College Fair
at University of Central Florida (UCF) with 130
colleges in attendance. The annual fair was
sponsored by the Central Florida Consortium
of Private School Counselors (www.cfcpsc.
org). Students had the opportunity to meet
with college representatives to discuss
different programs offered at different
colleges/universities across the country.
Most of the 130 colleges in attendance also
visit Montverde Academy individually, in the
fall. These visits give our students another
opportunity to hear more about the colleges/
universities in a small group setting. Our
juniors are busy building their college lists and
these opportunities help them narrow their
search down to their top schools.
