STUDENT-ATHLETE ACCOLADES Song is in his fourth year at BGGA. His scoring average is 75.2 with a +1.3 handicap. He’s played golf for nine years and has a strong long game. Song won the boys division at the IJGT’s Faldo Series Florida Championship in 2017 to qualify for the Faldo Series U.S. Grand Final. He posted a 9-under 207, besting the boys field by seven strokes, with rounds of 67, 74 and 66. Song’s strength showed on the par 5s as he was a combined 7 under on the par 5s through all three rounds. years, he had four top-ten finishes, three top-five finishes and won three tournaments. His low competitive round was 61 and his strength is his ball striking. We wish you the best at Lehigh and look forward to helping you along the way.” DONJIN PARK - UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA- CHARLOTTE (DI) Bishops Gate Golf Academy (BGGA) student Dongjin Park signed his National Letter of Intent with University of North Carolina-Charlotte. The UNC men’s golf head coach Ryan Cabbage enters his eighth year at the helm of the 49ers golf program. Under Cabbage, Charlotte has earned bids into three of the last six NCAA Regionals as a team. The Niners have appeared in 14-straight NCAA Tournaments. He recently won Falcon’s Fire at Rees Jones, qualifying for the Faldo Series Grand Final later this month. Park also won the AJGA Judie Oppenheimer, IJGA Central Florida and IJGT Savannah Harbor earlier this year. He T11 at the Faldo Series U.S. Grand Final in 2017. His previous best finish came at the 2017 EMoney.com/Daniel Berger Junior Championship at T6, and at the Bubba Conlee National Junior at T6.
