Defining Excellence “ “ Chiara Arya – She does everything we ask her to do. - Scott Shaffer, BGGA Senior Coach “ Marc Dejulio has defined excellence because of his work ethic and his attitude has been really good. He brings a background of other sports with him and he’s a competitor. - Keegan Fennessy, BGGA Coach Thomas Pfoestl has always been a little reserved in implementing the information he’s been given, maybe because he does well currently. Of late, he’s done really well with all the information we’ve been pouring into him in the last 12 months. He had a turnaround last week when we had a session with our Mental Performance Coach Paul Dewland. That session triggered him, and he’s become a lot more aware of what he needs to do to play his best. – David Louys-Moroney, BGGA Senior Coach Jeffrey Wu defines excellence because he works very hard to get better. He loves the game of golf. Jeffrey is very coachable, sets high goals and learns from his mistakes. - Nate Dougherty, BGGA Senior Coach “ “ “ Tyden Wilson defines excellence this semester in the changes he’s made in his practice habits. He recognizes what his weaknesses are and works on those instead of always working on his strengths. Now he’s working on hitting shots that will help him score better in golf. - Nick Duffy, BGGA Senior Coach Ricky Xiong. His passion to learn, grow and cultivate his confidence day in and day out is what has allowed him to evolve into an exceptional leader and role model. - Zach Parker, BGGA Assistant Director of Golf “ Sissi Wang has come a long way with her golf game. She started out shooting 95 to 100 and didn’t know how to properly train. She’s really adapted to our training environment, has a great work ethic and has worked really hard on her golf swing. The results are paying off. She recently played in her first AJGA event where she shot 77 and 78, which is incredible. She’s really stepped up in her golf game. - Drake Edmond, BGGA Senior Coach
