The Insider by Adam Podkonicky, BGGA Student
At BGGA, we’ re on a strict schedule. Every day we go to school and play golf. On the weekends, we go on trips to have fun, relax and get away from golf. We must study a lot for Montverde Academy.
My daily schedule is to get up in the morning and go to school. We get back around 12:45 and have lunch. We then have 30 minutes to relax and get ready to practice. We practice golf until 5:30 p. m. and then get changed for fitness. After that it’ s on to dinner and then study and go to sleep. That’ s every day during the week.
The facilities here are perfect. They are the best in the world. There’ s nothing like this Academy in Europe. I play every day, even on the weekend. They really help me get ready for events.
To prepare for a tournament, I start on Monday to finish my swing for the week. From Tuesday to Thursday I’ m on the golf course to practice the golf skills I had on the range. I transition my golf skills onto the golf course. I practice a lot of short game, especially my putting.
