This all has a direct relation with human waste. As of 2006 the United States produced an alarming 236 million tons of waste annually.3
In 2007, 254 million tons of trash was thrown out, Americans throw away an average of 6.8 pounds of trash a day.4
hat's the problem?
Trash quickly is destroying our magnificent oceans, lakes, streams, various waterways. This has been such a problem that we are already seeing it’s repercussions on the environment; but its not necessarily just the trash, its mainly the plastic.1
