By James Furlong L et’s get this out of the way. I have nothing against female gamers. I have nothing against female game developers. I believe it’s a good thing to add as much diversity to this very stale, remakeheavy, FPS-centric industry as possible. But I am sick to death about hearing that the female representation argument is ‘the discussion we should be having’, but the patriarchal hierarchy our industry exists within is why that never happens. ENTERTAINMENT THAT CAN BE ACCEPTED BY EVERYONE. Right, now I have that off my chest I can explain exactly what I mean.
