resources can spawn, Terrorcons, which are
essentially undead NPC transformers that hold no
allegiance and will gladly attack either side once
provoked; so not only do you have the opposing
faction to deal with, but bloody zombie robots too!
The focus of Transformers Universe is definitely
pointing to all guns blazing action; as to be fair
this is what is going to give us raging nerdgasms,
hitting the ground running and causing havoc, no
one is gonna want to roll out as a transformer and
go fishing right? Well... apart from Hot Rod in the
animated movie, but he’s just a big girl’s blouse.
That being said, you’ll still be levelling your cherished
hunk of metal, repairing battle damage and upgrading
components when they become available to you.
This may not be the traditional MMORPG that we’re
all accustomed to but the guys at Jagex are still
able to make this game feel like our characters are
meaningful, something to grow attached to over
time rather than glorified disposable razors.
Initially, we’re only going to have ground-based
vehicles available to cock about with when the
game launches mid 2014 but the developers have
an extensive roadmap for Transformers Universe,
spanning a mind-boggling 15 years, so fret not
